Practice Your Knowledge and Skills
via 10 Tasks and the Final Challenge

Learning and reading are truly effective only when they are followed by practice.
Therefore, we ecourage you to strengthen your knowledge and skills from the course
"Forest Ecosystem Services: Valuation, Conservation, and Sustainable Management"
by taking on practical tasks in the form of 10 gamified missions and a final challenge.

When you successfully accomplish all of the missions and the challenge,
you will become eligible to receive the certificate of completion of the course.
Moreover, you will create real positive change for the forest of your choice
and for people and communities relying on its ecosystem services.

The missions and the challenge are organised into the Forest Ecosystem Services quest,
which is available to you via MEGA's on-line platform called MEGA Game.

LEARN ABOUT MEGA GAME

To participate in the Forest Ecosystem Services quest and to take on its missions,
you just need to register in MEGA Game, if you have not done so.

You can do this by following the 3 easy steps described below.

Create a Green Agent account

On the Login page, select Green Agent to create your account as a participant of the quest. Then, on the Registration page, fill in your basic data, create your password, and click on Create Account

Find and accept missions

On the Missions page, open a mission in the list or on the map to see its description, objectives, and rewards. Click on Accept to accept the mission. Now, you can find it on your Profile page.

Submit reports and earn rewards

On the Profile page, open the mission. Tick off its objectives and click on Submit Report. Write the text of the report, attach a file, if required, and click on Submit. When your report is approved, you will receive rewards (XP points and skill badges) and feedback.

Besides accomplishing missions and taking on the final challenge of the course,
we invite you to join the Facebook group Forest Ecosystem Services Agents,
which is an on-line community of all students and alumni of the course.

Here you can continue your learning by posting questions to the community,
reading posts of its members, and discussing the missions of the course with them.
